Helping out at the Strong Minds Healthy Athletes programme of Special Olympics Cayman Islands (SOCI), with Dr. Erica from Aspire and Ms. Ellie from Sunrise Adult Training Centre.
Strong Minds teaches athletes how to manage stress in fun easy ways. They learned breathing, stretching and other mindfulness techniques and were provided with tools such as stress balls and meditation pebbles to help them manage their stress levels before competing and in their daily lives.
