Occupational Therapy – Summer Intensives
Help your child feel ready for school before the school year even begins.
Starting school, moving up a year group or keeping up with handwriting can feel like a big leap for some children.
Maybe your child avoids writing. Maybe they get tired quickly, become frustrated with pencil tasks, struggle to follow classroom routines or need a little extra confidence before September.
This summer, CHATTERBOX is offering two small-group Occupational Therapy intensives designed to help children build practical school skills in a supportive, playful and encouraging environment.
Our Ready Set School programme is ideal for children entering Reception or Year 1. Children will practise the everyday skills that help them feel more settled and independent in the classroom, including pencil and scissor skills, listening, following directions, classroom routines, movement activities and confidence in a small group.
Our Handwriting Heroes Camps are perfect for children who find writing tiring, slow, messy or frustrating. With support from a paediatric Occupational Therapist, children will work on writing stamina, pencil control, speed, legibility and confidence through games, movement breaks and hands-on activities.
These programmes are not about pressure or perfection, but helping children feel more capable, more confident and more prepared for the school year ahead.
